My goal is to make everyone look as beautiful on the outside as they feel on the inside. Elowen was born in the lands far east of Eorzea, the only daughter of a trader. The bright dessert sky and harsh temperatures made her soft silky skin the deep chocolate color it is today. In her village Elowen, she had a pure soul. The townsfolk would say you could see her for miles with her long deep black hair flowing in the wind, her piercing blue eyes and then that smile…..it could soothe even the hardest of souls. When she turned 16 her father had arranged a marriage with a bordering town’s Mage as was custom. On the day of her 17th birthday she was wed to him in a ceremony without much fanfare.
In the first few months she started to believe that her husband was not just some Mage that she had previously believed. His workshop would always remain locked and she was forbidden to enter it. He traveled often, weeks at a time that would take him and when he was home he was locked in that room. She would not receive much attention from him except when scolding her when she prepared his meals late or his robes were not properly washed. This is how much of the first year went.
In the second year he would start to let her travel through the town to do his shopping, insisting her taking care of gathering his supplies would give him more time to work. At the local alchemy shop there was an ivory skinned girl that Elowen would take to talking to when she stopped by. Her pace would quicken the closer she got to the shop each day and she would be able to see Madison’s short scarlet hair, green eyes and rosy freckled complexion in her mind. This went on for months, each time she appeared their conversations would become longer, and the two girls would talk together for hours. The relationship progressed from simple flirting, to a simple holding of hands. Then one early summer day Madison pulled Elowen into her workshop away from prying eyes and kissed her. Elowen had never known love before but when this woman kissed her, she finally understood it. Only to lose it all...
